Broker loading tip
As taxes are not mandatory for new home listings, if you set the “Age” field to “New”, the tax field will no longer be mandatory.  This will save you having to enter $1 in the tax field.

 

New photo price!
We have been advised that effective February 1, 2014, the price for photos taken by REAL Services will increase to $15 plus HST per photo.  (e.g. front and rear views = 2 x $15 = $30 plus HST)

As of November 21, the REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington/Niagara Association of REALTORS® database of listings also includes listings by members of the Brantford Regional Real Estate Association (BRREA). (more…)

Duplicate Listings (Brantford  and RAHB Interboards) Being Removed

On November 21, 2013, Brantford joined the shared Fusion database with RAHB and NAR.  During this cutover, all listings for all statuses from Brantford’s previous MLS® system were uploaded to Fusion; these included listings RAHB members had interboarded onto the Brantford Board. (more…)

Bits & Bytes – Internet Explorer 11 Compatibility

CoreLogic (Fusion) has issued this advisory:

With holiday shopping season fast approaching we realize many of your members will soon be purchasing/receiving new computers with Windows 8 OS and IE11 Browser.

Please be advised that it’s currently necessary for users with Windows 7 or Windows 8 to add the domain name (fusion.starrs.ca) to Internet Explorer’s Compatibility View and Trusted Sites lists.

This is also a reminder that Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 Internet Explorer 10 and 11 must be run in Desktop mode, not Metro mode.

For users with new equipment, we have posted instructions on how to configure browser settings and related information at mlxhelp.com.

Please also ensure the “Delete browsing history on exit” box is NOT checked in the Internet Options.  We will update you as soon as we have any further information from CoreLogic.

Chrome print/display issue
Google Chrome users have noticed some issues with printing listings and with the Message of the Day scroll bars in Fusion.  To correct these problems, you will need to remove the “Pepper Flash” plugin from Chrome.  Here’s how to remove the plugin. (more…)
