RAHB member Dave Sohal (Bridgecan Realty Corp.) invites RAHB members to participate in the 11th Annual Salvation Army Golf Day. The event will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Beverly Golf and Country Club. Registration fee is $200 per person, and includes 18 holes of golf with power cart, barbecue lunch, dinner, prizes and awards.

A Conversation with the RAHB President and CEO
Plan to come out to a RAHB Town Hall meeting!
These informal meetings give you the chance to bring your questions and comments to RAHB President Bruce Moran and CEO Ross Godsoe.
Town Hall meetings have been scheduled as follows:

- Burlington – Friday, April 19 – East Plains United Church, 375 Plains Rd. E.

What happened at the CREA AGM?
- Rate Your REALTOR® didn’t rate very highly for CREA members at the CREA AGM – the motion to create a Rate Your REALTOR® site was defeated.
- An alternative to New Co – the separate MLS® corporation – was approved. This alternative will, through CREA Bylaw and policy amendments, remove a few layers of bureaucracy currently in the technical development area of CREA; those amendments will speed up and improve decision-making for major technology development. The Bylaw and policy changes will be prepared and presented at the fall Assembly meeting.
The CREA Technical Peer Group (TPG) met just prior to the CREA AGM. Two projects are ongoing: work on a new platform for REALTOR Link® is progressing and improvements to REALTOR.ca are in a beta testing phase, with the expectation it will go live in a few months.

The Board of Directors recently approved the following new MLS® Policy
Interboard and Access Listings
4. When a REALTOR® from another association joins RAHB as a full member, should the new member have any active access/interboard listings on RAHB’s MLS® system at that time, the following process will be followed: the Listing REALTOR® must provide a signed copy of the listing agreement, a signed RAHB PIF (Property Information Form) or verification from the other association’s MLS® System the listing(s) is/are active; no prepaid access or interboard fees will be refunded; all billing codes will be removed in broker load and all non-member information will be removed and replaced with the RAHB member’s detailed personal information from entering the member’s User ID.

Course Outline
Fusion is the new RAHB MLS® interface. Fusion gives you everything MLXchange did and more. If you are familiar with MLXchange and its many features and have occasionally visited Fusion but return to MLXchange because you are not yet comfortable working with the new design, Fusion Transition Training will get you up to speed. Now is the time. MLXchange will no longer be available to you as of July 2013. This 3-hour, 2-credit hands-on course will give you the chance to explore tools in Fusion that you need for your day-to-day activity.
