January 7, 2013 – Hamilton, Ontario) The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported the residential market saw an 8.3 per cent increase in average sale price in December compared to the same month the previous year. The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported the residential market saw an 8.5 per cent increase in average sale price in November compared to the same month last year. The median sale price also saw gains over November of last year.

Association Update – Quarterly Reports
Arbitration, Discipline and Professional Standards Committees
There were no Arbitration Hearings and three Abbreviated Discipline Hearings held during the third quarter. The Professional Standards Committee reviewed six new complaints, four of which were deemed to fall under RECO’s jurisdiction and two cases which were opened and are being investigated by RAHB.
