CREA periodically releases maintenance updates to REALTOR.ca or ICX.ca mobile apps to correct issues and implement minor changes. Anyone using the apps should ensure they are using the latest app version.
Demographics added to REALTOR.ca
CREA added demographic information to the REALTOR.ca and ICX.ca sites in December. As of mid-January, approximately nine per cent of visitors to the new beta site interacted with the demographics content on the site – that’s almost one million visitors. Demographics will be made available on the REALTOR.ca mobile apps in 2014.
Register now for your .REALTOR top level domain name!
The new .REALTOR top-level domain (TLD) will make it easier for home buyers, sellers and investors to locate a trusted source of real estate information, resources and services online. The .REALTOR TLD will be used as an alternative to .com, .ca, .org, etc.
Registration will open later this year, and .REALTOR will be available to all REALTOR® members in Canada and the United States. Right now, members of CREA and NAR can sign up to be on the priority list for .REALTOR domain registration. Those who are on the priority list will have a 24-hour head start to register a domain before other members of CREA and NAR. Priority list registration ends March 15, 2014.
