They’re back!
The Montreal and Quebec City real estate boards are back in the CREA fold after a new deal was worked out between the two boards and the Canadian Real Estate Association.
The two Quebec boards left CREA at the end of 2013 over concerns about mere postings of Quebec properties taken by out-of-province brokers and placed on REALTOR.ca – a situation which was in violation of Quebec laws for listing and selling real estate – and other issues.
CREA addressed the two boards’ concerns and, after consultation with their members, the Montreal and Quebec real estate boards are re-joining the national association.

RAHB will be forwarding one copy each of two CREA publications – Homebuyer’s Road Map and Marihuana Grow Operation and Synthetic Drug Labs – to member offices in February. These publications may be useful as office reference copies. Members can also read the publications or download or order their own copies on the REALTOR® Resource page on the CREA REALTOR Link® site (http://www.realtorlink.ca/portal/server.pt/community/realtor%C2%AE_resources/692 – scroll down to “REALTOR® Resources” publications).
One copy of each publication will be sent to offices which receive courier delivery. Members in offices which do not receive direct delivery may check out the publications online.
