November 12, 2013  –  Slate of All Candidates to Members

November 19, 20 & 21, 2013  –  Electronic Voting (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. daily)

November 22, 2013  –  9:00 a.m. – Final date and time for depositing proxies at the Association

November 26, 2013  –  Election Meeting for 2014 Directors of the Board


2. Bylaw changes approved at GMM

RAHB members approved Bylaw changes which consolidated all former membership categories such as “Salesperson” or “Broker” into one category of “Member”.   This change served to streamline the RAHB Bylaw as well as prepare the Association and the Bylaw for the requirements of the new Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA) expected next year.

Other minor changes required as a result of the changes to membership or which addressed inconsistencies in the Bylaw were included in the motion to approve the Bylaw changes.

Members also approved a motion to allow the Board of Directors to make minor, “housekeeping” changes to the Bylaw – small changes which would not affect the meaning or intent of the Bylaw – which are required for consistentcy with the approved changes but were missing from the changes presented at the meeting.

3. Volunteers Needed!
