The RAHB Board of Directors met on June 26, and the following business was considered:

  • RAHB staff will investigate the pros and cons of incorporating the Home Ownership Affordability Partnership (HOAP) and report back to the Directors at a later meeting.
  • The Board approved amendments to Sections 1 and 2 of the RAHB Bylaw; these were the last of the amendments required by the Ontario Not for Profit Corporations Act.  All amendments will be prepared for final review and approval at the next Board meeting and, upon approval, will be sent to the members for ratification at the next General Membership Meeting
  • A task force is studying how directors are compensated/reimbursed for their time spent on RAHB’s behalf.
  • A social media policy for Directors, volunteers and staff was developed and is now in place.
  • A RAHB Service Philosophy statement was created and accepted by the Board; it is posted in the Membership Information section on REALTOR Link®.
  • The Board of Directors approved amendments to MLS® fine policies and approved enabling the “Alternate Feature Sheet URL Link” – field 63 – to allow members to display feature sheets from their own websites on REALTOR.ca.  See MLS® Update for details about the updated policies.   More information about the Alternate Feature Sheet will be made available soon.
