Municipalities across the province will elect new leaders on October 27. In concert with the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and the Hamilton-Halton Homebuilders Association, RAHB has been active in shaping the conversation for the Hamilton Mayoral race.

Under the banner Hamilton Business Leaders (HBL), the three associations organized a mayoral panel with the three leading candidates on September 18.  Moderated by CHML’s Billy Kelly, the candidates were asked their positions on economic development, labour relations, municipal land transfer tax and of course, LRT.

If you were unable to attend, a video of the event can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Yq2i-JbQQ4 (Courtesy of Joey Coleman).

For more details on the HBL priorities, as well as videos of the candidates speaking frankly about their vision for the city, visit www.hamiltonbusinessleaders.ca.

RAHB is also the Platinum sponsor for the Burlington Chamber’s Mayoral Debate on October 17.  Details can be found here: http://www.burlingtonchamber.com/index.php/item/mayoral-candidates-meeting.html?category_id=19
