June 8 was an excellent day for Teeing it High and Letting it Fly!
RAHB members, supporters and tournament sponsors turned out to enjoy a day of golf and prizes at the annual Charity Golf Tournament at Copetown Woods Golf Club. The weather cooperated and made for a perfect day for a round of golf!
Lisa Hensen, Jason Hensen, Arlene Brown, John James – Top Foursome
Julia Fedak – Longest Drive (Ladies’)
Randall Weese – Longest Drive (Men’s)
Michelle Campagne-Blyth – Closest to the Smirnoff
Justin Park – Closest to the Pin
Robert Ip – Closest to the Pin (Men’s)
Kim Binkley – Closest to the Pin (Ladies’)
Steve Roblin, Dan Paisley and Todd Foley – First, second and third, respectively, Putting Contest
Robert Ip – 50/50 Draw
Orval Levie – 24” CCM Mountain Bike
David Yunker – $250 VIA Rail Canada Voucher
Unfortunately, there were no winners of the two Hole-in-One contests and the prizes – two Westjet tickets and a Florida golf vacation – went unclaimed. The good news is that we raised money for Good Shepherd and will be presenting a cheque as soon as the final number has been tallied.
Thanks to the golfers, sponsors and donors who supported the tournament and helped make it a great day!
