Duplicate Listings (Brantford and RAHB Interboards) Being Removed
On November 21, 2013, Brantford joined the shared Fusion database with RAHB and NAR. During this cutover, all listings for all statuses from Brantford’s previous MLS® system were uploaded to Fusion; these included listings RAHB members had interboarded onto the Brantford Board.
With the shared database, we had duplicate listings – those listed through RAHB as the Home Board and the duplicates interboarded onto Brantford, as well as Brantford listings that already appear with a Brantford MLS® number and a duplicate listing if those listings were interboarded to RAHB prior to the November 21 cutover.
These duplicate listings have been removed from the database so that only the Home Board listings appear.
Members are reminded that interboarding is no longer required for properties located in the Brantford area as they will automatically appear on the shared database.
Searching Brantford Listings: Map Search Recommended Until Further Notice
Before Brantford joined the shared MLS® database on November 21, area, sub area and neighbourhood codes were changed or added for the Brantford area.
Some historical listings have not been migrated over under the new areas, sub areas and neighbourhoods. We anticipate these listings will be updated shortly. In the meantime, please perform all searches in the Brantford jurisdictional area by using the map search feature: this allows you to search any area using the radius tool, rectangle tool or polygon tool.
This is a temporary measure. We will notify you through REALINFO and Message of the Day (MOD) when all Brantford records have been updated.
