The RAHB Board of Directors met twice in September, and the following business was considered:
- Amendments to the RAHB Bylaw were approved for recommendation to the members for ratification at the October 10 General Membership Meeting. Amendments centred on membership, definitions and various “housekeeping” changes to provide consistency in the Bylaws.
- Staff was directed to proceed with the incorporation of the Home Ownership Affordability Program (HOAP) to protect the assets of the Association.
- Directors discussed the City of Hamilton’s proposed licensing bylaw.
- A schedule for annual Board and individual Director assessments was agreed on.
- The MLS® “Sales #1” Policy was amended (see details in MLS® In Brief).
