The annual elections for the CREA Board of Directors will be held in conjunction with the 2013 Annual General Meeting, scheduled for March 23, 2013. Qualified REALTORS® are encouraged to run for a position on the Board of Directors.
There are four Director-at-Large positions available for which qualified RAHB members can run – three for a two-year term and one for a one-year terms.
There are four Regional Director positions open, for British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec and the Atlantic Region.
Qualifications:
Persons wishing to be elected as either a Director-at-Large or a Regional Director must:
1. Have a minimum of three years experience as a director of a Board of Association; and
2. Have been a REALTOR® (i.e. a licensed real estate practitioner who is a member of CREA) for at least five years.
In addition, REALTORS® running for Regional Director must be licensed in that Region.
