Beautiful fall weather and sunny skies welcomed RAHB and the Member Engagement Committee as they travelled to the towns of Grimsby, Dunnville and Caledonia for three Fall RAHB Community Open Forums.
Formerly known as the RAHB Town Hall meetings, the rebranded Community Open Forums took a more interactive and participatory approach. RAHB members in these communities were contacted in advance for ideas about ‘hot topics’ that mattered most to them. As a result, the conversations were lively and informative! OREA Form 801, “Coming Soon” advertising, and pre-emptive/bully offers were the more popular topics for discussion. At a more grassroots level, the Dunnville Open Forum also delved into the challenges of properties with wind turbines, and the Caledonia Open Forum featured a presentation by representatives from the Grand River Conservation Authority.
