Stage Two of Opening Ontario’s Economy for the RAHB Market Area

Today, the RAHB Market Area entered Stage Two of the Framework for Reopening Ontario.
While we are entering stage two of the reopening, in-person open houses are still prohibited under the Provincial Government’s State of Emergency orders. REALTORS® should continue to use virtual open houses until the prohibition is lifted.
On June 5, the provincial government lifted the ban on short-term accommodations.
The Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) developed a guide of information for stage one of the reopening, and much of it is still very relevant during stage two.

Return to Work Health & Safety Resources
As we move into Stage Two of the Reopening, the province has developed several health and safety resources to ensure Ontarians remain safe as they return to the workplace. These resources include:
- Safety plan guidance
- Safety plan template
- Guidance notes and tip sheets for various indistries
- Posters for the workplace for cleaning, sanitizing, social distancing protocol, etc.
- Information and resources for retail transactions
- Videos and resources on how to safety return to work

CERB Extended
On June 16, Prime Minister Trudeau announced that the Canada Emergency Response Benefit would be extended for an additional eight weeks. This extension will make the benefit available to eligible workers for up to a total of 24 weeks.

RAHB Realty Shoppe Update: Curb-Side Pick-up Now Available on Tuesdays & Fridays
Effective Wednesday, June 17, the Realty Shoppe will now offer curbside pick-up two days a week! You can utilize the curbside pick-up on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Supply orders must be pre-ordered by e-mail at realtyshoppe@rahb.ca, or by phone at 905.529.5979.
- Orders must be pre-paid, and payment must be on your credit card or your RAHB account. Payment by debit and/or cash is not available at this time.
