We want to thank you, our members, for another successful REALTORS® 4 Kids Charity Auction all in support of the AM900 CHML/Y108 / Fresh Radio 953 Children’s Fund! We had a packed event full of REALTORS® who were eager to show their generosity. Whether it was bidding on our selection of live and silent auction items, purchasing raffle tickets, donating prizes or participating in the event itself, we couldn’t have done it without your time, dedication, and support for this great cause! Auction results!


The results are in from the REALTORS® 4 Kids Charity Auction!  Members, sponsors and friends of the REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington raised $65,950 in support of the CHML/Y108/953Fresh FM Children’s Fund. Over the 27 years of the partnership, RAHB’s annual auction has raised over $900,000 for the charity, making RAHB its single largest contributor.

REALTORS® 4 Kids Charity Auction – not the same old cocktail party!

RAHB’s 27th annual charity auction underwent a rebranding (remember the Christmas Tree of Hope charity auction?) and a change of format for 2015, and drew almost 500 REALTORS®, their clients and friends for an evening of great food, fun and – most importantly – fundraising for The Children’s Fund.




The evening included a four-course sit-down dinner, live and silent auctions, draws, door prizes, giveaways and the chance to make a difference in the lives of children in the Hamilton/Burlington area.

RAHB engaged the services of professional  auctioneer Linda Leija, “the Auctionista,” to act as emcee for the event and to conduct the live auction.  Guests were entertained and challenged to open their wallets for the cause.

What’s old and new at the same time?  RAHB’s annual charity auction!

RAHB has supported The Children’s Fund for over 25 years – that’s a long history of helping children in the Hamilton-Burlington community.  To date, RAHB has raised over $838,000 for The Children’s Fund – that’s huge!  And it’s a tradition worth carrying on.

But it’s time for a new beginning, so everything about the charity auction
is changing.

The REALTORS® 4 Kids auction will still be an awesome evening of fun and fellowship, but with new twists and opportunities for you to support The Children’s Fund, and go home with great finds in the live and silent auctions.

Watch for more information about tickets and fantastic auction items.  This is an event you won’t want to miss!

RAHB NEWS – RAHB Charity Auction – the results are in!

RAHB President Tim Mattioli and members of the Charity Auction Task Force presented a cheque for $48,557.79, representing the proceeds from the RAHB Charity Auction, to The Children’s Fund Vice-President Olivia DePetris.

The Charity Auction was held on Thursday November 20. RAHB members, sponsors and guests enjoyed a night of live and silent auctions and a variety of entertainment and activities to benefit the Children’s Fund, the charity founded by 900 CHML/Y108/953 FRESH FM.

REALTORS® come out to support RAHB auction

RAHB’s 26th annual Charity Auction offered an evening of food, entertainment and friendly bidding wars to raise money for the CHML/Y108/953 FRESH Children’s Fund.  RAHB members and supporters came out to have a good time, and took home a wide range of goods and services purchased in the live and silent auctions.


The event also featured chocolate tasting by Forrat’s Chocolates, wine tasting by Diamond Estates – The Winery and lots of opportunities to win prizes and draws.

RAHB’s annual auction has raised over $789,600 for the charity, making RAHB its single largest contributor.  The Children’s Fund offers assistance to over 30 different charities each year.
