RAHB members were honoured for their time, talents and long-time membership at the annual Appreciation and Awards Gala on Saturday, January 18 at Michelangelo’s.
- RAHB President Tim Mattioli thanked committee, council and task force members for their service in 2013, and for “taking time away from their businesses and personal lives to serve the wider interests of their fellow members and our association.”
- Mattioli also thanked outgoing Directors Cameron Nolan, Hank Balfoort and Dan Gies for their “countless contributions and dedication” in forwarding the interests of the association.
- Awards Task Force Chair Stacey Adamson joined the RAHB President to present the Outstanding Community Service award to Mario Cupido (now with Century 21 Aberwin Realty Inc.)
- Long service pins were presented to the newest members of the long service club. In total, 67 members reached their 25-year milestone in 2013, 15 members reached their 40-year milestone and one member – Ray C. Edwards – completed 65 years of RAHB membership.
- The formal part of the evening ended with a presentation to Past President Bruce Moran.
- Entertainment was provided by Blackwater Draw
